Dr. Nolan Duck was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1975. Upon graduation Nolan earned a Master of Divinity, Master of Religious Education and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Duck has served as a minister on many church staffs and has pastored multi-staff churches with average attendance of over 500 with budgets of over $1,300,000. His experience and training has prepared him to lead Baptist churches to become more healthy and effective as they prepare to call a new pastor to lead them to accomplish a fresh vision. Dr. Duck also received the Maples, Williamson, and Daehnert Intentional Interim Ministry Award for 2012 from the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
Dr. Duck and his wife of thirty-five years, Nancy, live in Richardson, Texas they have two grown children who along with Nancy are graduates of Baylor University. Nancy currently teaches fifth grade language arts at Olson Elementary in Allen, Texas.
