2. Who is related to you?
My wife Jaci, sons Xachariah and Jack, Chihuahua Delaney, and I'm also distant cousins with famed gunslinger Wild Bill Hickock
3. What is your alma mater?
I graduated from Snyder High School in 1999, Western Texas College in 2001, and the University of Texas in 2003 with a Bachelor of Journalism.
4. If you could have dinner with any living person, who would you choose and why?
Dan Marino because nobody has thrown a football better
5. What one thing do you love most about Colonial Hill Baptist Church?
The obvious and truthful answer is the people, which encompasses my fellow staff members. I love who I work for and who I work with.
6. If you had to choose only one food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chicken McNuggets
7. What television show(s) do you always make time for?
24 (R.I.P.), Touch, Whale Wars, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, and Sportscenter
8. If you weren't in ministry, what profession would you pursue?
Artist Relations, Fantasy Football Consultant, or Nephologist (one who studies clouds)
9. What band(s) are you listening to right now?
Gungor, Mat Kearney, Matt Redman, and The Rend Collective
10. What band are you embarrassed to say you used to listen to regularly?
Ace Of Base and country music in general
11. Have you ever met anyone famous, and if so, tell us what happened?
I used a urinal next to actor Kevin Spacey and wrestler Hulk Hogan; both refused to shake hands afterwards. I also performed magic for NFL MVP Kurt Warner.

"Heaven Is For Real" by Todd Burpo
14. What is your favorite memory about another CHBC staff member?
Our first year at summer camp, several students combed their hair into mohawks. Our pastor Dr. Tommy Culwell also combed his hair into a mohawk...all 15 strands. Three years later he shaved them all off for a youth fundraiser. Tommy has always had a heart for our students.
15. Which bad smell do you actually enjoy?
Rubber cement
16. What is your most prized possession?
My sports memorabilia, specifically my limited edition Michael Jordan hologram
17. If you had to watch one movie 100 times, which would you choose?
Dumb And Dumber
18. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would star in the lead role?
People say I look like Freddy Prinze Jr. or a young Jerry Lewis, but I would choose Kiefer Sutherland playing as Jack Bauer playing as Reid Johnson. Awesome.
19. When you get to heaven, what one question do you want to ask God?
What have I done that brought you the most glory?
20. What is one more fact no one knows about you?
I have won multiple awards for my work in radio, to include two American Christian Music Awards and "Best Radio Broadcaster" from the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association. I also dislike clowns.

My parents Joey and Diane, twin brother Jamie, and younger brother Riley
3. What is your alma mater?
I graduated from Snyder High School in 2007, Western Texas College in 2009, Hardin-Simmons University in 2011, and am currently studying at Logsdon Seminary.
4. If you could have dinner with any living person, who would you choose and why?
Louie Giglio because he is a very passionate communicator who is all about making Jesus known
5. What one thing do you love most about Colonial Hill Baptist Church?
The people are welcoming, loving, and extremely supportive.
6. If you had to choose only one food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chicken strips
7. What television show(s) do you always make time for?
24, Whale Wars, and The Chicago Code
8. If you weren't in ministry, what profession would you pursue?
Concert Pianist, Astronomer, or a Technical Director

11. Have you ever met anyone famous, and if so, tell us what happened?
I met Mark Hall, lead singer of Casting Crowns, in the Nashville Airport. Reid and I attended a Youth Specialties Conference, and as we were loading to leave for the airport, Reid lost the key to the rental car. By the time we found it, we had missed our plane's departure and had to rebook. As we were walking to our new gate, we ran into and recognized Mark. He genuinely engaged us in conversation for five minutes, and it would've never happened had we found the car key in time.

14. What is your favorite memory about another CHBC staff member?
When I was a sophomore in high school, I was getting ready for youth service and accidentally spilled my lemonade all over the projector. I was so scared to tell Kathy I had ruined it. I wrote her a note explaining what had happened and offering to pay for the damages. Later that week I received a thank you card from Kathy saying how proud she was of me for confessing the truth. She was so kind and understanding, and I'm not sure why I was so scared to tell her in the first place.

A family Bible my grandma gave me
