COLONIAL SPECIAL NEEDS
Our Special Needs Ministry supports children of all ages with developmental or physical disabilities by offering a safe, loving space during our 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. Sunday services and select special events. With at least two background-checked volunteers and a video-monitored sensory room, we aim to give parents peace of mind while they worship—knowing their child is receiving excellent, compassionate care.
Led by our coordinator Jessica Martin, volunteers are coached to understand and meet each child’s unique needs. To provide the best experience, registration is required prior to attendance.
While we’re not equipped to provide therapy, behavioral programs, or medical interventions, we joyfully serve children with diagnoses such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, and others. Children with ADD/ADHD are typically served in our Kids Ministry or may sit with a parent in service.
To get started, complete the registration form below. Jessica will then connect with you for a brief conversation to learn more about your child and answer any questions.
